You are welcome. *. @ J The \April Meeting of "Head" U.C.W. was held at the home of Mrs. Jack Manns on Wed. evening with 16 ladies present, including Mrs. Mary Barry of Haliburton. As the meeting was to in- clude stewardship and Easter theme, Mrs. Earl Reader chose the chapter on the "Holy Spirit and the Christian Life" for the study period. Scripture read- ing by Mrs. A. Heayn and ques- tions were interwoven with the study. As the disciples pon- dered, we also considered what was left after the crucifixion and remembered that the Holy Spirit carries on through the Church and. the Bible. Mrs. Lloyd Clark read an article on "Stewardship" and Mrs. A. Carter read comments by various people as published in a periodical. From the "Christian Home", Mrs. J. Wil- son reviewed an article on "How to Explain Easter to the Children." Marilyn and Beverley Manns entertained with a lovely piano duet. Mrs. A. Carter had a guessing competition with jelly beans in a jar. Though Mrs. Don Ger- row's judgement was most ac- curate we all shared the prize. Renewals were accepted for the "Christian Home" and col- lection was made for member- ship fees (50c). The bazaar items were interesting and varied. Some clean used nylons were turned in and we decided to get busy and collect a quantity for the enxt meeting. We are also. requested to report if we have enough used clothing to make up a bale. For the May meeting the roll call is to be a suggestion for a Centennial project. Please start thinking.
