WHEREAS the Reeves and Council of the Village of Port Perry deem it in the public interest to close up that part of Silver Street and that part of Reno Street, as shown on Crandel Estate Plan of part of the Village of Port Perry registered in the Registry Office for the Registry-Division of the County of Ontario as Number 85 and more particularly described hereinafter; AND WHEREAS no person is being deprived of the means of ingress and egress to and from his or her land or place of residence. AND WHEREAS those parts of the highways to be stop- ped up and closed have not been used for vehicle traffic, AND WHEREAS Notice of this By-Law has been pub- lished once a week for four consecutive weeks, namely April 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 1965 in the Port Perry Star, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the Village of Port Perry. AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the Village of Port Perry, in accordance with the provisions of the Muni- cipal Act has duly caused Notice of its intention to pass this By-Law to be posted up for at least one month in six of the most public places in the immediate neigh- bourhood of those parts of the highways in question. THEREFORE the Corporation of the Village of Port Perry, enacts as follows: . Cameron who has been minister there for 25 years, Here are this week's visitors: Mr. Harold Moon and Miss Joan Hindley, Toronto, spent the week-end with the Aubrey Moons. Let's keep an eye on this couple and see what they are up to. Also from Toronto came wold friends Mr. and Mrs. Grant Or- chard to visit with Mr. and Mus. Glenn Wanamaker. Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins, Osha- wa and Mr. Howard Leask, Ux- bridge, called on Mr. and Mrs. J. MacTaggart. Mrs. Bagshaw of Lindsay is visiting the Lloyd family. We see Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sweetman, Streetsville are visit- ing their parents and friends in the village, Janice and Wayne Dowson, Port Perry, spent Easter holi- days with grandpa and grandma Boe Mrs, Gladys Short was home for the week-end and Miss Deb- bie Short also from Port Perry visited with her cousin Shirley Short while her parents were on the hockey trail. On Monday, Mr, Harvey Webster, Bowmanville called on old friends in the Bethel dist- riet. Miss Laura Mark; Toronto and Mrs. Ada Watson, Whitby are guests of Mr, and Mrs, A, Bruce. Now comes the big news for two of our families at least. Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs, B. Wanamaker are thrilled to have a new grand. daughter, a sister for Wayne and Lynda Wanamaker, Our Sunday School Supt. Doug McMillan is back from Florida nicely browned and was in charge of the service. Dane ay Moses from the Jr. Boys Class read the lesson and birth- day contributions were made by the Barr twins, Bob and Earle, Mary Jane Crosier, Mrs. Chas. Short and Mrs. Bertrand. Attendance was 83. Mother's Day on May 9th will be marked by a special Joint service at 10.80 at which fhe Sacrament of Baptism will be administered.
