The choir was very well received and the members enjoyed reminiscing ard visiting with Rev. J. K. Braham a former minister of the Scugog charge. Most of those present were Farm Acci- | dent Reporters who will be: sending in reports on farm ac- cidents for the coming year-- April 1st, 1965 ,to March 31st, | 1966. Mr. Lynn Fair, Agricultural Representative, in his talk, re- viewed some of the information | period. that came out of the Farm Ac- cident Survey that was com- pleted in Ontario County five years ago. In this survey, 164 accidents to farm people were reported 14 of these accidents were fatal involving 8 Men, 2 Women, 3 Boys and 1 Girl, The 150 non-fatal accidents resulted in 2,664 days of lost time; cost $26,863.69 in medical and hos- pital bills, and resulted in $164,- in a twelve month | On Ont. County Farms 817.20 damage to property. For the purposes of the sur- vey, an accident was defined as one in which the victim required medical attention, two or more hours of time were lost through injury, or property damage ex- ceeded $25.00. Accidents hap- pening to people on farms and to farm people off the farm were included. The present Farm Accident the same basis as the one five years ago. All Townghips in Ontario County have been or- ganized; a total of 142 farm pecple have been assigned a de« finite area in which to report any accidents that may occur.
