They will visit Holly- TE SENIOR CITIZENS As usual the regular meeting (twice monthly) was held at the Hall on Wednesday, April 14th at 2 pm. There was a fair at- tendance. Some of our members are still on he sick list and in hospital. Pleased to hear they are progressing nicely and hope they will soon be home again. Mrs. Chapman, the president opened the meeting extending a warm welcome to everyone. We all joined in singing Citi- zer's Prayer, O Canada and re- peated the Lord's Prayer in unison. Business was discussed. A hearty vote of thanks was given to two of our members who donated the new Flag soon to be draped in the Hall, Mrs. M. Chapman and our past Pres. Mrs. J. Robertson left on Sat- urday, May 1st for a bus trip, others from Uxbridge joined wood, San Francisco, Edmonton, Las Vegas and many other spots. They will be away thirty days. We wish for them all a very pleasant holiday. Mrs. Chapman will visit her two brothers out West before her return home. Mrs. Cullen, Vice-President will preside at our meetings in her absence. After their return, bus trips will be arranged for our members, we enjoy theése trips and will await the return of these two ladies. They are the main organizers of these trips. Please remember meetings for members, second and fourth Wednesday 2 p.m. at Hall until further notice. Euchres every other Saturday. Next to be at Hall on Saturday, May 14th at 8:30 p.m. Our Euchres have been very successful. Not so many attending when Toads were icy, We are looking for larger crowds now with the weather much nicer. Lunch served and good prizes for lucky winners.
