During the afternoon, the relatives reminised and ex- changed news of their families while some played ball and swam. 94 members stood to sing Grace and enjoyed a deli- cious picnic supper. Stanley Gerrow of Port Perry supplied the entire family with all the juicy watermelon that they could eat. President, Mrs. Irene Pren- tice of Port Perry conducted a short business meeting. She welcomed those attending. All bowed their heads for two min- utes of silence in respect for the family members who had passed on during the year. Some time was spent in iden- tifying the descendants of the various branches of the family. It was noted that the seventh generation were the youngest present. Mr. Maunsell Gerrow of Oshawa spoke briefly regard- ing the writing of the Gerrow family history.
