To celebrate the winning of the baseball trophy by the Scu- gog Ramettes, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carter opened their home on Saturday night to the girls, their parents and coaches. The older ones enjoyed euchre while the teen-agers danced in the rec. room. When all assembled together the coaches wives, Mrs. D. Ash- bridge and Mrs. T. Eden were presented with corsages and the coaches Don and Tom re- ceived leather wallets, which were much appreciated. Lunch consisted of a corn roast, ice-cream, pop and a beautifully ~ decorated cake in the shape and theme of a base- ball diamond. There will be an Anniversary Service in the "Head Memorial" Church on Sunday morning of Oct. 19th when Rev. Geo. Tes- key will bring the message and Mr. Frank Densham will sing.
