Here relatives from Mon- treal, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent are still with her and then Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Thompson from England dropped in for a three- week visit. We are always glad to have the Thompsons who are quite well acquainted here. Dame Reemour says that our Mrs. Thompson plans to re- turn with them to England for the winter. The latest local proprety sale is that of the farm of Mr. El- mer Spencer, which passes into the hands of Mr. and Mrs. Zer- ing of Toronto in two months time. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer have made no plans as yet. This is moving week in Bethel corner so don't be surprised at anything you might see on the road down there. Mr .and Mrs. Morley Bruce and family are moving in with Mr. Frank Wat- son temporarily while they build a new house on the recently ac- quired Stone farm. Mr. Clar- ence O'Neill figures he is retir- ing from active work ard goes to live with Mr. and Mrs. E. Butt. Mr. Cecil Fishley is re- turning to the Clements-Belair home where he lived some years ago. We also expect Mr. & Mrs. Balling and family will be ac- cupying their néw home on the Bruce farm. Visiting with the McTaggarts last week were Wm. Martin of Sutton, Duncan Martin of Sun- derland, Mrs. Henderson and Jack Cockburn of Major, Sask. and Wm. Cockburn of Beaver- ton. The attendance was not as large as usual, but sales were good. The Bazaar was of- ficially opened by Mrs. Cath- arine Martyn and her introduc- tory talk was much appreciated.
