Married In Port Arthur An October wedding in Port Arthur of local interest took place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, when Cherry-Lynn Chatterbook be- came the bride of Jonathan Charles Williams, on Saturday, October 2, 1965. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Chatterbook of Port Arthur and has lived in the Whitby area for the past five years. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wil- liams, Port Perry. The bride, given in marriage by her father John Chatterbook, wore a long velvet gown with a scalloped neckline. The Em- pire waisline was emphasized by a flower trim. The long sleeves ended with petal points and the ensemble was complet- ed with a lace train. She wore a crown shaped headdress secal- loped on the sides and carried a bouquet of red roses which cascaded down the front of her gown, The bridesmaid, Laverne Ze- gil wore an ankle-length gown with an Empire waistline ems phasized by embroidered flow- ers, The gown, cherry red at the top shaded to a light pink at the hemline. A bouquet of white roses and a red bow- shaped headdress completed the ensemble. Jerry Vandendrecie carried out the duties of the best man. Pat Chatterbook, brother of the bride was the usher.
