Several went to vote at Epsom only to find their names had not been added to the list. If this happened here, how about the other polling booths. Wake up boys! Mr .and Mrs. Lynwood Coop- er of Brighton were Sunday din- ner guests with Mr. and Mrs. R. Armstrong on Sunday. Miss Darlene Lyons and three of her class mates in tap and baton twirling entertained at a Company Christmas Party in shawa on Saturday. Mr. Ross Bailey is in the U.S. for a three week course Good luck Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Asling visited - their aunt Mrs. Cath- arine Cawker in Port Perry on Sunday afternoon. The Christmas Concert for the Epsom Sunday School will be held Dec. 17th. The U.C.W. and any ladies who are interested are asked to give a contribution of candy for the children's treat. These contributions will be given to Mrs. Arthur Taylor on or be- fore Dec. 16th. Mrs Taylor has kindly volunteered to pack the treat again this year Mrs. Tripp offered the use of her home for a Tupperware de- monstration sponsored by the U.C.W. last Thursday evening. Several ladies attended and spent a very enjoyable evening. Many thanks to Mrs. Tripp for her hospitality. A Couples Club has been formed at Mpsom United Church. Their first outing is to be a bowling party this week and a social hour following at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ashton. On Wed., Dec. 1 the U.C.W. met at the home of Mrs. How- ard Ashton for their Christmas meeting. We welcomed quite a large number of guests. The several wee children were good as gold. The programme and lunch delightful. We just tucked away a few tag ends of business so we could start the new year with the feeling that 1965 had been quite gratifying financially and socially. Our deep appreciation to Mrs. Ash- ton for the use of her home. Mr. an.d Mrs. Donald Asling, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Ashton went to Toronto to visit Mr and Mrs. Jerrold Asling and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jaggers Leona and Margaret of Myrtle visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Rhul. Mr. and Mrs. D. McKinley at- tended a ministerial tea in Ux- bridge on Dec. 1. We all sympathize with any- one who has lost a pet and L. E. H. expressed our feelings so nicely. You can imagine my anger a few weeks ago when a young smart alec tried deliberately to run down the little dog that has been my constant companion for nearly fourteen years. Also how appreciated it one day when the bus driver stopped the bus in order to miss him. Mrs. G. Prentice was home from school for a few days last week with the flu. Everyone seems to be having a bout with the nasty little bug. Mr. and Mrs. H. Kerry spent a week-end recently in Halibur- ton with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Howsam at their cottage. Mr. and Mrs. I Lyons, Alan, David and Darlene visited with her niece Mrs Bert Wallace and Mr. Wallace at Oak Ridges on Sunday. agement is very important. out in an information sheet. mend. ing program accordingly. of the season. tices. ® Maintain bulk by feeding of roughage. coarsely ground, quality roughage. pay the extra feed bill.
