The retiring president Mrs. Cliff Short thanked the ladies for their co-operation during her two years in office then called upon Mr. Harris to con- duct the election of officers. He encountered some resistance but finally managed to find some who would serve. Presi- dent for 1966 will be Mrs. G. Wanamaker; Vice-Pres. Mrs. A. Bertrand; Secretary Mrs. W. Barr; Treasurer Mrs. B, Wana- maker. Various committees were appointed also. At the close of the meeting, Santa (Mrs. G. Stone) appear- ed and distributed gifts brought by the ladies for an exchange. All retired to the basement where lunch was served at a long table suitably decorated for the Christmas season.
