In the south of Italy the land is mountain- ous and often barren . .. here the CSCF, through the Italian Save the Children Fund, pro- vides counsellors, builds model nurseries and establishes feed- ing stations so that children may live and grow and find freedom from hunger. In Greece the CSCF answered promptly to an emergency to help a number of earthquake- devastated villages and arrang- ed that all children should be given an augmented diet.
