Carried $10,846.67 rt Perry Council News PROPOSED AMENDMENT by the Port Perry Fire Dept. to By-Law #207 dated 1884: RESOLUTION -- "That By- Law #207 be amended, as re- commended by the Port Perry Fire Department: (a) "All commercial buildings built or converted within 650 feet of any wooden or metal clad building must be of brick, stone or cement block. (b) "All apartments must have two exits for each floor." LETTER from D. A. Henry Consultants Ltd. dated Nov. 25, 19656 re Port Perry High School: "We have been advised today by the Architects that the ex- isting Port Perry High School is serviced with a 1%" water supply from the south end into the original school. Would, you also kindly advise whether or not a meter on the incoming water service is now required? Also, would you kindly advise the minimum water pressure which we could expect in this school ? We would appreciate a reply from you in this regard at your earliest convenience." The Clerk was instructed to reply to this letter from the D. A. Henry Consultants Ltd. and advise that when this new addi- tion is built, it is anticipated a meter should be put in; that the pressure at that location would be aprpoximately 25 lbs. and that the location of the 4" ser- vice could no doubt be deter- mined as to where it enters the basement.
