Of course one cannot say too many nice things about the kind we are having right now but after all it's not too cold and that helps the fuel situation. That overall coating of ice we had on Sunday was responsible for low attendance at church, several falls, much slithering around of cars and many cases of jittery nerves. However the mild air has taken care of that and the school buses, milk trucks and other traffic seems to be moving on schedule so now if this fog lifts everybody will be happy again. The Vesper service, slated for Sunday evening was postponed but will take place at a later date. The annual Christmas Concert sponsored by the Sun- day Schol will be held on Fri- day evening, December 17th. Rev. Harris managed to get to Seagrave for the Sunday morning service but the Pine- dale people withdrew their ser- vice Sunday afternoon. The congregation here was much smaller than usual but still very good considering road and wea- ther conditions. ] Sorry to report that Gary Lee -had the misfortune on Sunday to break a bone in his foot so is now bogged down with a heavy cast. No more hockey for awhile, Gary. Mark and Scott Howsam of Columbus were week-end visit- ors with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Lee. -- A College eo NOTICE eo The New WINTER TERM at-the OSHAWA BUSINESS COLLEGE Opens MONDAY, JANUARY 3, 1966. Nine-Career Designed Course from which to Choose.
