One evening recently many interested folk gathered in the church parlors for thé purpose of supporting our local choir, when they presented a variety musical 'program. Two non members Mrs. Clifford Love & Mrs, Stan 'Glass each contribut- ed humorous readings, A few members from Kedron choir also assisted. Much credit is due our church organist and choir director Mrs, Bruce Snel- grove for the enthusiasm and effort displayed in this memor- able concert. All realize the hours of practice were quite Refreshments -- served & a social hour enjoyed. Mrs. C. Newnham opened her home recently for a stork shower for Mrs. Gerald Bonnell. The recipient was the richer of many lovely clothes and neces- sities for the wee one. Lunch was served to over thirty ladies. Congratulations to Miss Lexie Love who obtained first class honours in examinations for Grade VI vocal, Mr. and Mrs. Les Faux and son Allen of Wick and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Robertson of "Shirley were with Mr, and Mrs. Lloyd Hunter, Miss Patsy Holby spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Tietze and son Duane of Linden.
