A timely devotion was provided by Mrs, Mildred Hope and Mrs, Pugh. The president Mrs. Roy Hope chaired the meeting. The subject of Hospital Auxi- liary Spring Fair was disputed as a result the idea of bedroom setting, with special emphasis based on quilt, pillow-cases and other suitable articles were sug- gested and carried. The name "Bedroom Nook" was voiced as name of our section Mrs, Pugh and Mrs. Beacock assigned to arrange for this project to be held in Port Perry May 28. At this time Mrs. Beacock was asked to display the sample Centennial plate and packet of hasti-notes received since last meeting. After a brief discus- sion 6 doz. plates, plus 200 pack- ages of notes to be ordered. Mrs. Snelgrove related infor- mation regarding the Guest Book which led to some consen- tration on same. A lovely lunch was served by Mrs. Luke, Mrs. Newnham and Mrs. Dorothy Hope. All agreed it a pleasant and worthwhile meeting, The February meeting of the G.N.S. Door prizes were won by Mrs. Jack Cook and Mr. John Greaves. Special request numbers were played for an anniversary coup- le and birthdays for two men. Thanks to all who attended and helped make the evening a success. Sorry to note Mrs. E. Jewell is confined to the hospital as a result of a bone fracture in the ankle.
