Perry's Tripp's Bulldozers and Port Elgin. =~ 'For the first. time in the history of the O/H,A. a Port Perry team had succeded in going all the way to capture . the coveted O.H.A. Championship Trophy. After playing two games in Port Perry and winning one the team played three games in Port Elgin, winning two and losing .one which gave them a 3-2 edge in games to re- turn home for the sixth games. : It was obvious all through the game that the Port. Perry 'Plans Campaign For Funds In Nar Future ~~ players had no desire to return to Port Elgin for the seventh game .and gave -the opposition no chance during the entire encounter. All through the season, the Port Perry boys have been playing very fine hockey, and the aim has been to do exactly what was accomplished that night. Possibly the main reason for "this.success has been the fine comradeship and the solid team spirit among the players. The grants which be- gin in 1969 and continue for five years, include a total of $400,000.00 for the new COM- 'MUNITY MEMORIAL HOS- PITAL in Port Perry. Planning 'a new hospital re- quires 'a great deal of thought and cooperation on the part of many people.
