The Ontario Safety League. suggests that observance of a few com- mon sense rules of hunting courtesy would help to improve this deplorable situation: Never hunt on private land without first obtaining permis- sion from the owner. And then remember that you are the guest of the farmer or land- owner and act accordinly, Never shoot near buildings or livestock, and of course, never shoot at livestock or use buildings, farm machinery or other equipment for target practice, Be careful gates or fences, and always close gates behind you. Never walk through standing or grow- ing crops or cut firewood and make cooking fires without per- mission. If you have created any dam- age, report it to the landowner and offer to pay for the dam- age or help fix it. --Also report any acts of van- dalism observed to the land- owner or local police. These common sense acts of courtesy would not only mean many hours of enjoyable hunt- ing, but could also develop friendships which could bring pleasure for years. : YOUR RED CROSS EJ THANKS You FOR YOUR HELP not to damage Church Services CHURCH OF ASCENSION ANGLICAN Rev.
