Hayes and fa- mily in Brandon, Man. | Martyn with activities including judg- ing classes of accessories,, giv- ing oral reasons, choosing co- ordinated sets of accessories for various occasions, and, the completing of a quiz on 'general knowledge of the art of being smartly dressed. Berets, cloches, pillboxes and bows, each with its co-ordinat- ing tie-dyed scarf were the fea- ture of the afternoon: fashion show -- the models were the club girls themselves. The afternoon programme was most informative to the visit- ors and guests. Each of the eight clubs from Ontario Cen- tre presented either a skit, de-. monstration or exhibit. The Altona Club chose Karen Fretz to commentate on the ex- hibit 'Accent with Accessories'. Two demonstrations followed on "How fo Care for Accessor- ies"--from Bethesda West with Cheryl Paradine, . Linda - Las- wick, Betty Munro; and from Prince Albert with Jo-Anne and Bonnie Pugh. "Details are Important" was 'the title of the skit from Qua- ker Hill. Dorell Britton com- mented on the exhibit "Acces- sories for a Basic Costume" for 'the Claremont Club. Port Perry I demonstrated "Accent with Accessories" with Janice Den- ham, Deanne Gray and Judy Wallace. "Accessories Around the Clock" was the exhibit chosen by Port Perry II. Mary Nelson was the commentator. Bethesda East presented a skit "Accessories for Various Oec- casions". Visiting Home Economists gave comments on the girls' work -- Mrs. P. Squire, Bramp- ton for demonstrations and skits; and Miss P. Wray of Lindsay for exhibits. _ Certificates of Achievement and sterling silver spoons were presented for the successful completion of the project. County Honour Awards were presented for the completion of six Homemaking units to: Kar- en Tobin, Bethesda 'East; Lea- Anne Ballard, Denise Jeffrey, Marsha Mulholland and Linda Pickard of Prince Albert; Mary Nelson, Port Perry II; and Kimberley Brethour, Bethesda West. : The highlight of the after- noon arrived with the presenta- tion of the Provincial Honour Award. It is the highest hon- our awarded in 4-H Homemak- Budget Increase, $100,000 For Assessment Department M. Annis, President of Ontario South Women's Institute.
