On motion meeting adjourned. 4 o) i a Handicraft Guild An enjoyable afternoon was A spent at the home of Mrs. Louise Patterson, when twenty- four members, and friends, of the Handicraft Guild, met for the Christmas meeting. The President Mrs. Patterson ] presided & opened the meet- ing by all repeating "The Lord's Prayer". Visitors. were cordi- ally welcomed. Correspondence included a letter from the Craft Centre in Montreal, regarding entry -of crafts, for the World's Fair. As our organization is grow- ing, meeting places for the fu- ture were discussed, also a dis- cussion was held concerning a centrally located- room, where crafts might be sold. Members are asked to- give some thought to these matters. A special feature of the af- ternoon was the demonstration on icing cakes, presented by Mrs. Ben Smith. This proved most informative. Many crafts were on display --weaving, fancy aprons,. a smocked dress, rugs, etc. The January meeting will be held at Mrs. Allen Martyn's home, at Prince Albert, Jan. 11, Refreshment committee com- prise--Mrs. Grant MacDonald and Mrs. Sam_Cawker.
