Anderson recommendation be sent offic- SEAGRAVE NEWS It looks as if we will have to use a lot of words this week to stretch out a little bit of news. So far as we know, there are no meetings, accidents, illnesses, births, marriages or deaths to be reported, so we give top billing to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bruce. After several weeks of rum- our and counter-rumour, it has now become a fact that they have sold their farm to Mr. and Mrs. R, Virgin of Whitby, who with their family of two will take possession on April 1st. Where the Bruces will locate is still the big question, but it looks as if our community may lose another of its older fami- lies. That's the sad part of this moving about. From Port Perry this week- end came Miss Jill Dowson to be with her grandmother Mrs. Boe. These two spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Boe in Beaverton. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lake and boys and Mrs. Hall of Toronto spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A. Moon a Clifford. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Clar- ence Wright of Cannington also paid the Moons a visit. On Friday evening Mr. & Mrs. | Belair visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank.Tobin in Port Perry. On Sunday morning we were glad to see again: Mrs. A. Short home for the week-end from Port Perry, Mrs. Tait who has been away for a long holiday, and Mrs. McNeil who has been at home entertaining the flu bug for weeks. Mr. Bill Barr made his first appearance as S. S. Supt. this week. As a program number four members of the little girl's class presented a flannel-graph of the story "Paul and his ne- phew". They were -- Janet Abraham, Arlinne Watts, Cathy Carr and Nangy Espie. Attendance was 84 and there were no birthdays celebrated. Manchester News Mr. and Mrs. Harley Johnston and Diane of Welland were with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Johnston on the week-end. Mrs. Grant Christie has been visiting her sister Mrs. Bigg and Mr. Bigg in London. Mr. and Mrs. I. Best and fa- mily visited daughter Donna & family in Lakefield on Sunday. 1367 1867 CANADA FARM and INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT SHOW __Cometothe CANADA FARM & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT SHOW JANUARY 25, 26, 27 & 28,1967 EXHIBITION PARK - TORONTO, Ontario Secure your free admissions from your Farm Equipment Dealer Four Seasons Travel (Oshawa) : LIMITED ® YOUR CERTIFIED © TRAVEL CONSULTANTS A complete travel service throughout the world. 728 - 6201 (3 lines) No Service Charge OSHAWA 87 King St. East (R.S.0. 1960, c. 296), of Mal; 1966. this application.
