New 'Pro' For Skating Club Port Perry Skating Club will open the 1967 season with registration on Friday, Oct. 13th in the Arena from 4 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Club pro- gramme begins on Tuesday, Oct. 17th. Mrs. Jean Barclay, the po- pular club "pro" for the past 1949 and skated as a soloist two seasons has been replac- ed by Mrs. Marilyn Whitt- stock of Willowdale. Mrs. Whittstick comes to Port Perry with an impres- sive background as a compe- titive amateur skater, and be- fore married was "Wfirelyn Ruth Take. She was a runner-up to Barbara Ann Scott in 1944. 45-46 and won the Canadian Ladies Figure Skating Cham: pionship in 1947.
