An invitation is extended to all farmers in Ontario County. This event will feature all types of equipment relative to the production, harvesting and 'marketing of grain corn. Farm machinery used in the production of grain corn will be on display for the day and in addition demon- strations will be taking place from 3.00 - 4.00 p.m. in the corn field at the Cornland Day. In'taking the ears they should be representative of the corn in the field and should be taken just previous to coming to the Cornland Day, and not harvested and stored for a few days previ- ous to bringing them to the day. There will be no charge for this service. At 1.00 p.m. Mr. H. E. Bellman, Agriculutral Engineering Ex- tension Specialist from Wal. kerton will discuss the sub- ject, "The Place of High Moisture Corn in Today's Feeding Program." Follow- ing this Mr. Tom Brown, a farmer in the Bradford dist- rict will discuss the storage of high moisture corn. There will again be a tour of the plots at 3.00 p.m .in the af. ternoon following which the machinery demonstrations will take: place. Interest is keen on the part of the machinery com- panies and at the present time it would appear that most major machinery com- panies as well as many com- panies handling special equip- ment will be on hand to ex- hibit and demonstrate the machinery during the day's program. This event is being spon- sored jointly by the East Central Soil and Crop Im- provement Association which includes the counties of Ont. ario, Victoria, Peterborough, and Durham in' co-operation with the Durham County Soil and Crop Improvement As- sociation and the staff of the Extension Branch of the Ontario Department of Agri- culture ard Food in this 7 Hospital Nets $85.
