Mr. Jim Lee added to his collection of awards when he placed second in the horse class at the South Ontario Ploughing Match held at Brooklin last Wedne:day. He also won the Dr. Dymond Special for Best Ploughed Land by a South Ontario Ploughman. Three others of our young- er people came home with ribbons from Uxbridge Fair. Bobby Stone won first place with his calf and Jim Phoenix came first in Showmanship. Both of these boys are mem- bers of Scott Jr. Dairy Calf Club. Ron Thomson of the Port Perry Calf Club took the Grand Championship prize. Congratulations boys. Visitors at the home of Geo. Rahm over the holiday were Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Ped- dlar, Stayner, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Rahm Burnt River and Mrs. Leilia Cochrane of Wil- lowdale. On Saturday Mr. & Mrs. Geo. Rahm, Helen and their guests attended a tur- key dinner at the home of J. McLaughlin at Enniskillen in honour of Mr. C. W. Rahm's birthday. Mr. and Mrs| Wm. Stone and family were dinner guests of the Robert Jebb family on Sunday.
