36 Lands Plowed In S. Ontario Match The North Ontario Plow- ing Match was held on the farm of Mr. Jaj Have, Udney, on Thursday. October 5, when 34 lands were plowed. This plowing match is spon- sored each year by the North Ontario. Plowmen's Associa- tion. Mr. Graham McGilli- vray, President, and Mr. John Gorrell, Secretary-Treasurer, and the various committees, did an excellent job in choos: ing the site for the plowing match, and carrying out the details. There were a num- ber of interesting old time exhibits and displays. In 1968, the North Ontario Plowing Match will be held in Uxbridge Township. "The plowing match was brought to -a conclusion with a banquet in the Community N Hall, Udney, at which the various prizes and trophies were presented.
