Blackstock Anglican Young People joined Port Perry Young People for a pot luck supper on Sunday evening. Several from Cartwright attended the Centennial Ball in aid of Port Perry Hospital at Club Annrene on Satur- day night. Our 4-H Club, the Black- stock Butterfingers held their third meeting at Mrs. Larm- er's on Tuesday, October 10, at 4 p.m. We began our meeting with the 4-H Pledge. The leaders, Mrs. Martyn and Mrs. Larmer showed us how to make Irish Soda Bread, Apple Dumplings and English Trifle. Everyone helped to make Welsh Rarbit.
