A large number of spooks, goblins and "what have you" knocked on the doors of vill- agers for treats Tuesday night. Also a good number were collecting for UNICEF. Otherwise the night was rea- sonably quiet. Mrs. Ira Argue is spending a while with Mrs. Cecil Hyde and Mr. Hyde, Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Larmer, Pickering were Sunday guests of Mrs. G. Fowler. Miss Edna Larmer is spend- ing a few days with Mrs. Fred Willan, Bowmanville. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cry- derman and Mrs. Albert Bal- som, Solina visited Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Larmer Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Yel- lowlees and family, Solina at- tended the anniversary Sun- day evening and called on the Ralph Larmers. Mr. and Mrs. L. Beacock, Prince Albert, were Sunday lunch guests of Mrs. C. Hill, after attending the anniver- sary service.
