"Be not Weary in Well Doing" and "We must learn to 'live in Peace". Mrs. Cecil Hill commented on the motto -- It is one thing to itch for something and an- other thing to scratch for it. Mrs. Mervyn Graham gave two readings' -- "Its Later than you Think" and' "Diet Sheet". Mrs. Ralph Larmer was reappointed' as repre- sentative to the Parks Board! Mrs. Percy Van Camp con- ducted 'an interesting contest: Following "The Queen" lunch was served by Mrs. M. Gra- ham and her group. Fairly good congregations attended in both churches on Sunday morning. In the United the choir sang the Anthem "Hold Thou 'My Hand, Dear Lord". Rev. According to radio they had a much worse storm in Tor- onto and area. . As the day grows on the storm is getting worse. Snow plows were out early and husses got pupils to school. Tuesday morning, will there be any way of getting news to offices this Yesterday the storm gof worse about noon and pupils were taken home from school so all who could did not go any further than to get shov- elled out from homes. The country looks beautiful this morning with the sun shining- on the ice covered trees etc., but still very cold. Mr. and-Mrs. Lloyd Wilson of Scarboro were week end guests of Mrs. Ruth Wilson and Mrs. A. McQuade. We hope to hear Mrs. 'McQuade is in much better health soon Mr. and Mrs. Llovd Wilson also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wilson, Nest- leton.
