N., Oshawa, died Jan. 26 in St. Michael's Hos- pital, Toronto, in his 74th vear. He was born in Ontario and married-Misy Lottie Rod- man in Tyrone, Ont. in 1920. He moved from Port Perry to Oshawa in 1941 and was a member of the Centennial United Church. He worked in the 'city's parks until his retirement -in 1964. -He leaves a son, Ivan, in Palm Springs, California; a daughter, Mrs. H. Puckrin (Enid) in Blackwater and an- other daughter, Mona, at home. ll Mr. Dusty was the son of the late' Samuel and Mary Dusty and is resting at the Gerrow Funeral Chapel where the funeral service was held. Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert. "Wood, MRS. OLIVE MAUDE WOOD In failing health for the past_vear, Mrs. Olive Maude Wood, 294 Division St., died Jan. 26, at the Oshawa Gen- eral Hospital, in her 75th vear. The former' Olive Maude Brown, the deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown. Born at Myrtle, Ont. she received her education there. Following her marriage to 'William Bright,! who predeceased her July 7, 1927, she lived in the Raglan area for some years. During her first marriage she was an active member of Raglan United Church and active in the work of the wo- men's group and also in the Willing Workers. Mrs. Wood is survived by her second husband, Fred whom she married Mar. 6, 1948; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Grills (Dorothy) of Brooklin "and three sons, Grant Bright of Seagrave, Bruce Bright of Oshawa and John Bright of Raglan. attendance are from eastern Township January 30th, 1968. The main course which runs for three months has 29 students . enrolled, while six additional students have just 'concluded a three week course in milk testing and grading. At the time of writing réads are very icy and hindrance particularly to senior citizens for walking. The mexting opened, Mrs. M. Cullen presiding. Still quite a few on. the sick 'lit. It was very worthwhile, scenery and costumes . were colourful and animals of all kinds made up this interesting film. It is a delightful show for Children as well as adults. Some of the scenes were taken atCas- tlecoombe, near Bath, Eng- land, very interesting for a few that came from that part. Castlecoombe is a lovely old village with its ancient cot- St student from Quebec. All students have had at least a season's experience in commercial dairy work prior to enrolling in these courses, with.- the majority having gained some apprenticeship in cheesemaking. The Kempt- ville courses: emphasize this | phase of dairying but also deal with the manufacture of products, as well as other related aspects of dairying. .
