Mustangs started off a little shaky and at the 20 second mark Bill -Ridding scored West Rouge's first goal when Dale Crawford miss cued on clearing his shot. John Williams got the assist. At the 2.45 mark Grant McLaughlin scored. the first Mustang goal with" as- sists going to Ken Irvine and Bob Brunton. Two minutes later Brian McNab scored his first of three goals from Roger Moase and Ron Short. At 830 Grant McLaughlin got his second of the night on the prettiest passing play of the season with Ken Ir- vine. Just befote the period ended West Rouge made it 3-2 on a goal by Gary Dear * assisted by Jim Allen and A. It was a 3 game sweep which extended the Bantams win ning streak -to 8 wins with out a loss including 1 play- '| off victories. In the Wednesday win Rick Evans and Dan McCart- ney with goals gave Beare -| Bantams a 2-0 lead after the first period. Then in the second period Port jumped into a 5-0 lead on goals by Rick Evans, Dave Bourgeois and Dan McCartney, his 43rd tally of the year. Two of these goals were scored while West Rouge had a man advantage. In the third Rick Evans achieved his hat trick, dek- ing the: goalie out of his net and then backhanding it home. This period was mar- red by penalties but the boys held en and goalie Jim McLeod obtained his shut- out. Final score, Port Perry 6; West Rouge 0.
