Mrs. Grace Love had the honour of being chosen as a lady delegate as one of six delegates from Ontario Rid- ing to attend the Liberal Convention to be held in the Civic Centre of Lansdowne Park in Ottawa on April 4, 5 and 6 for the purpose .of choosing a new leader for SUGAR & SPICE (continued) beef and horseradish sand- wich. The dance that was held Saturday night at the Club Annrene, for the cubs was very 'succéssful. Ivan Jeffrey in company with Mr. Ross Bailey left on Tuesday morning by air for Calgary. The rummage sale which was cancelled by the G. M. strike is now set again for the 18th of April at the U.A.W. Hall in Oshawa at 1.00 p.m: Choir practise will be held Thursday night 7.30 p.m. at the home of Allene Kane. Mr. & Mrs. Henry Thomas spent Monday in Sterling, Ont. Mrs. S. Rzany of Oshawa spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. J. Reese. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Krieg were at Newcastle on Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Eyman.
