Archer were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Archer, Bowmanville, Sunday. _OBITUARY- "MRS. MARGARET SHORT Following a lengthy ill- ness, Mrs, Wm. Short passed away on Sunday, April 21st 'at the Spruce Lawn Nursing Home in Lindsay. "She was in her 82nd year. The former Margaret Jane Dinsmore was born in Port Perry, the eldest daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth Dinsmore. She married Edward Broc- kel in Toronto who prede- ceased her in-1930.: In November 1936 she married Wm. A. Short who died in December 1964. A resident of Port Perry for the past seven years, they had formerly farmed at Seagrave until retirement. A member of the United Church and very active dur- | ing her good health. Mrs. Short is Faivived by two daughters, Margaret, Mrs. Clyde Fawcett of Tor- onto, Ruth, Mrs. MacMillan of Port Perry, also survived by four sons, Charles of: Sea- grave, James of Lindsay, Murray of Cresswell and Ross of Port Perry, twenty- one (21) grandchildren and thirteen (13) great grand- children. Mrs. Short rested at the chapel of McDermott-Pana- baker until Tuesday, April 23rd. Rev. Alex G. Rice con: ducted the service. Inter- ment was in Pine - Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
