The deceased was the son of the late James and Lily Love, he was raised and edu- cated at Greenbank. He mar- ried. Florence Mearing at Prince "Albert, Ont, Feb. 8, 1911. 'He farmed. at Kedron for over 40 years and had lived in Oshawa since 1957. The deceased was a member of the United Church, also a mmber of Temple Lodge No. 849 AF and AM. When he lived at Kedron for a number of years he was secretary - treasurer of Pereman's school -SS No. 5, East Whitby. As--a young man he was active in the football club and the band at Greenbank. Besides his wife he is sur- vived by two sons, Douglas, Kedron and Leland, Isling- ton. Three daughters, Mrs. Harold A. Werry (Lorraine), Kedron, Mrs. Howard Hoskin (Jean), Oshawa, Mrs. John Ross (Florence), Oshawa, one brother, Lester J. Love, Joli- 'et, Ill.,, 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grand-children. He was predeceased by one grand- child, Gordon Hoskin. The memorial service was held April 27th at 3 p.m. at the McIntosh-Anderson Fun- eral Chapel. - Interment at the Union Cemetery with Rev. E. Fraser Lacey of Har- mony United Church offici- ating. | _ Donations to the Heart Fund are acceptable as ex- pression of sympathy.
