To Ronald On April 6th ? id a sett- ing of Easter Lilies, in Port Perry United Church, Linda Ruth Andrews and Ronald Bruce Kennedy were united ¢ in marriage by Rev. Alec Rice. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andrews, R.R. 1, Port Perry and the bridegroom the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Kennedy, Port Perry. 'The. soloist Miss Barbara Taylor accompanied by Mrs. Gloria Forder sang "The Lord's Prayer' during the ceremony and "The Wedding Prayer" during the singing of the register. } The Bride, given in marri. age by her fapher, wore a neckline and /bell sleeves. « Her gown wds complimented with a matching train and waist lergth cape. Her shoulder / length veil was caught back with a headdress of rose petals & seed pearls. . 15 carried a cascade of (yellow rosebuds and white / stephanotis and she wore the gift of the groom, a watch. The bride's sister, Miss Francis Andrews, maid of honour and the Bridesmaids ¢ Mrs. Robt. Snelgrove & Miss Karen Kennedy, only sister of the groom attended the bride along with the little flower girls Miss Marie Yakes, neice of the Bride & Miss Shirley McCabe, cousin o of the groom. They were similarly attired in rose col- oured wool flannel formal gowns with matching capes and headdress and carried nosegays of white carnations with a single red rosebud in o the centre. All the gowns were styled similarly to the Bride's. Mr. Robt. Snelgrove, friend of the groom was the Best Man and Mr, Tom Andrews, » brother of the Bride, and Mr. John Williams, friend of the groom ushered. At the Fereption following, held in the Banquet Room of the Oddfellows Hall, Port » Perry. Mrs. Andrews. mother B. Kennedy of the Bride, received the guests in a wool flannel suit in beige and gold tones with matching accessories and a corsage of Yellow Rosebuds, assisted by the groom's mo- ther Mrs. Kennedy, who was attired in a two piece dress in Turqugoise crimpoline with matching Turquoise ac- cessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds. ~ Music for the party which followed was adequately pro- vided by Ken and Carl Pren- tice. On leaving the Reception, the Bride donned a suit with matching hat of mauve and Lilac wool with grey suede accessories and she wore a yellow orchid corsage. The happy couple will re- side at 55 Leacrest Rd., East York, Toronto. Along with the Grandpar- ents of the groom Mr. & Mrs. A. Kennedy, Uxbridge and Mr. and Mrs. S. In charge of the Wedding Presents and her Trousseau was Miss Francis Andrews, sister of the Bride and the shower presents, Mrs. Jean Snelgrove and Miss Sandy Borys of Toronto.
