The Chrysler corporation, however, did make sure that the salesman also was pro- perly looked after. Mr. and Mrs. Heayn have been award- ed a trip to New York for one week and will take. off on June 2. T0 BOOST "HOME SHOW" Star, Village Merchants Publish 2-Colour Edition Included in this week's is- sue of the Star is a "Home Show" edition advertising this first Port Perry event and a number of the Exhi- bitors taking part. An edition of this kind is nothing unusual, but for the first time in the history of this newspaper it is printed in two colours, black & red. In June 1967, the Star switched to a more advanced printing method which is normally referred to as off- set. The flexibility of this method has made it possible to introduce the two colour advertising and it is hoped that readers as well as ad- vertisers will enjoy the brighter look of the pages. In the meantime, manage- ment of the Arena and exhi- bitors are working hard to have everything in readiness for the opening at 6.30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16. 22 merchants and organi- zations in Port Perry are taking part in this show, and it is expected that this event will be as successful as the "Autorama Show" in October last year. Most of the merchants will have their own free draws every night, and refresh- ments can be had at the Arena booth. The "Home Show" will be open for three days, Thurs- day, Friday, Saturday, May 16, 17, 18. Cost Of Sewage Service $127.
