A dainty lunch and social time was enjoyed. Over 100 persons attended the Rogation Service on the lawn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Wolfe Sunday morning. The hymn and or- gan music were on tape. Little pigs, calf, chickens, lamb and pony, also imple- ments symbolic of seeding time were brought and were Blessed by Rev. R. C. Rose. He also Blessed the seeds. The lesson was read by Rev. Mansfield. During the sing- ing of one hymn, corn was given to the little ones; who will plant it at home. The people, and etc. of this area were also blessed. Rev. Rose sermon was on "Blessings of the Lord which we enjoy". Following the service all motored to the Parish Hall, Blackstock and enjoyed a de- licious Pot Luck luncheon and social time. People of all ages from six months to 93 years attended and enjoy- ed the diferent type of ser- vice. The ACW. met in the Parish Hall, May 16 with Mrs. T. Graham presiding. A hymn was sung and a Devo- tional period led by Mrs. Graham was participated in by all present.
