Dur- ing his many visits Mr, Dar- rell has formed many friend- ships -here and the Seagrave people wish him a complete recovery, Mr. McNeil was holiday speaker at Sunderland church on Sunday. With them were Mrs. Herder's parents from Holland who had arrived the week before for a short holiday and to attend the marriage of their son Bill next Saturday. Doug McMillan has return- ed safely from the Calgary Stampede and seems much impressed by the whole 'thing. While there he en- countered Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Venner of Manchester, and also spent a day with Norm Henderson of Little Britain who was heading for the West Coast. Mr. and Mrs. Neil McMil- lan and Mr. Cecil Fishley were guests at the Myles: Wallace wedding in Port Perry on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cookson entertained Fred's father, Mr. J. H. Cookson of Bow- manville for a few days last week. Our Toronto visitors this week were Mr, and Mrs. Har- old Moon and Corinna with the Aubrey Moons and Mr. and Mrs. Ian Fraser again with Mr. & Mrs. Neil Wana- maker. Bethel Sometiiy has re- ceived its first grass trim-- just a rough cut -- and it looks better. Since improve- ments were made, there have been more visits' to that cemetery than in all the 10 preceding years. . A S.
