Next Sunday- will also be a joint service in United Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Merrill Ferguson, Toronto guest speaker. Mr. and Mrs. Wes Pearce and Mrs. G. Crawford re- turned home Sunday after a three week's holiday at a cottage near Campbellford. Mr. and Mrs. John Venning and Mrs. Jean Moft spent the first ten days with them and Mrs. Mary Tetlow and Betty Heayn of Scugog spent the last week with them. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Trewin accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hall of Port Perry spent a most enjoyable week-end at Gananoque and the Thou- sand Islands -- guests of the Allis-Chalmers-Rumley, Ltd. This was a prize won by Fred for High Percentage Gain in volume sales for Eastern Canada. Mrs. G. Fowler visited Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Rutherford, Seagrave Thursday - Satur- day. All three attended the funeral of Mr. William Me- Allister at Teeswater, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gunter and family, Port Arthur are holidaying with Mrs. C. Ven- ning and family, also with the Blake Gunters and Roy Turners. Rev. and Mrs. Bruce See- back and family, Hamilton, visited the Glenn Larmers during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lar- mer visited Mr. and Mrs. Russel Larmer, Cadmus, Sun- day Miss Lorna Wright and friend, Waterloo, brought Eleanor home Sunday and visited the Walter Wright family. Mrs. J. E. Hood, Brampton was week-end guest of Mrs. C. Hill Mr. Weir Swain, Toronto, spent the week-end with Mr. Harold & Miss Helen Swain.
