'Bruce Langille, Utica Gordon Carnegie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carnegie, of Prince Albert. Rev. Rose officiated. Walking down the candle- lit isle escorted by her fa- ther, the bride was a vision in her white floor - length princess gown with dual train, and head- tulle and white flower clusters accented with same style. Together with orchid and blue petalled to- ques to match their bouquets a charming compliment of color was added to the bri- dal ensemble. The little flower girl; Elizabeth Car-- negie, also. in pale -blue, carried a basket of mixed posies. Robbie Langille, donned in white-codted "tux" to match those of the ushers, carried a heart-shaped cu- shion bearing the two rings. Mr. Richard Carnegie Was best man and the ushers in- cluded Mr. Larry Boese, Mr. Art VanCamp, and Mr. David Langille. The mother of the bride wore a gold floor- length gown with off-white. accessories, and corsage of peflow roscbuds. The groom 'S mother wore a floor-length pink gown with white acces- sories and white orchid cor- sage. The organist, Mrs. Snel- grove, entertained the guests before the service with a medley of appropriate music, and also accompanied the soloist, Miss* Barbara Taylor, as she sang the "Wedding Prayer" at the beginning of the service, and "Because" during the signing of the re- gister. Following the ceremony, the reception took place at the Port Perry Curling Club lounge where one hundred guests were received. A de- licious supper was served at which Rev. Rose led the "grace". Delightful organ music was provided by Mr. John Orde during the meal and throughout the evening. Mr. Storey Beare acted as master of ceremonies. Mr. Gord Carnegie "toasted". the bride, and Richard Carnegie the bridesmaids. The bride and groom re- practical gifts for their new home which were on display at the hall; and dancing was enjoyed during the remain- der of the evening. Her corsage was pink carnations. The groom's mother chose a light green crepe dress with matching coat, white ac- cessories and a corsage of white and red carnations. For a wedding trip to Al berta and Banff the bride beige accessories and a white gardenia corsage. They will reside. in Osh. awa. Family 'and friends were present from Buffalo, N.Y., London, Uxbridge, Port Perry, Whitby, Kitchener, Hamilton and Brampton. Washingtn, D.C., and other places of interest along the way. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wright, RR. #2, Nestleton and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Clark, Bethany. Rev. Fred Swann offici- ated, Mrs. Ruth Wilson play- ed the wedding music and accompanied the soloist Mrs. Lawrence Malcolm who sang "Wedding Prayer" hefore the vows were taken and "O Per- fect Love" after the signing of the register. The bride, given in marri- age by her father, wore a floor length white satin gown with lace covered sleeves and- long train of matching lace. Her head- dress was of white net, fall- ing from a hand of white roses, and she carried a semi cascade of white carnations and red roses. Miss Bonnie Malcolm was bridesmaid. She wore blue sheer over yellow taffeta, with headdress of blue nett- ing with blue bow at front and carried shasta mums. The flower girl, Margaret CLARK -- Baskets of pink and white gladioli, arranged by the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Garnet Wright, created the setting in Nestleton Presby- terian Church Saturday, Aug. 17th for the wedding of Lois Eileen Wright and Laverne WRIGHT The bride's parents are silk with matching hat -and corsage of yellow carnations. The groom's mother assist-' ed in a pale blue lace dress with corsage of pink carna- tions. Miss Linda Jefford, sister of the bride acted as Maid of Honour and chose a floor- length gown of peach peau- de-soie designed in princess lines accentuating a .front panel bordered with rows of white embroidered daisies. The bridesmaids, Miss Jayne Hunt, room-mate of the bride's at University, from Palmerston, Ontario and Miss Ellen Porter; of Tottenham, sister .of the bridegroom, were identically attired choosing pale yellow peau-de- soie. They carried cascades of tinted Chrysanthemums in matching tones. The bride's brother, Mr. David Jefford, of Toronto, was the bridegroom's: best man and her youngest bro- ther, Master Robert Jefford, of Elliot Lake, ably carried out his duties as train-bear- er.
