Rev. Romeril delivered an excel- lent sermon for the occasion from the theme -- This we have to be thankful for--The Sacrament of baptism was administered to. Lisa Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Van Ryswyck; and Jay Robert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith VanCamp. The church was suitably decorated. Several of the Anglicans joined with the congregation in the church of the Ascen- sion, Port Perry for their Harvest Home service. Following the service a pot luck dinner was served in the Parish Hall and a social time spent. . Sincere sympathy of the Community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Me- Laughlin and daughters on the sudden death of their son and brother Sunday. Also sympathy to all the grand- parents; uncles, aunts and cousins. Danny Porrell who also was in the accident Sunday near Kinmount is in Lindsay hospital with a broken hip.
