Senior Citizens A very successful Marath- on Bridge was held at the Senior Citizens Hall on Wed- nesday, November 8th. This was a wind up party for a number of Bridge parties. Nine tables were played at. Conveners were Mrs. G. Glass and Mrs. J. Robertson. These parties take up a lot of time to prepare, planning, phon- ing and etc, and those who sponsor them deserves a lot of credit. A jolly time was enjoyed by all and delicious lunch was served at the end of cards. Money realized from this Marathon was over $75.00 and was donated to the Senior Citizens Club. We have more time to en- joy these pleasures, such as bus trips, theatre parties, A -------- Mrs. I.R. Bentley, affectionately known to all her friends as "'Dhel", was made an Honorary Member of the Port Perry Ladies' Curling Club last year. The ceremony took place at the rink Tuesday night, when Dhel was presented with a Certificate and Pin by past president Margaret Cornish.
