Lei Sharon Sweetman, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Sweetman was runner-up in a beauty contest held in Whitby : in August. i The second annual "Auto- rama Show" was held in the Arena in October. In spite of inclement weather, the annual Port Perry Fair drew large crowds, and was again a great success. Miss Pat Hunter, R.R. 2, 'Seagrave, Ontario County Dairy Princess was chosen to represent the County in the annual contest for the title of Dairy Queen at the C.N.E. On Oct. 31, Dr. M.B. December saw the election ot Robert Kenny as reeve of Port Perry. With him in the picture is his wife, Norma.
