The annual Congregation- al meeting will be held in the church on the evening of January 29th at 8 o'clock. Rev. Redman) The regular meeting was held at the Hall on Jan, 8th. Mr. E. Healy, Pres. occupied the chair. A welcome was extended to all, inquiries af- ter those on sick list, many members have the flu, Mrs. C. Glass is home from hospi- tal and recovering nicely af- ter her unfortunate accident. Sympathy is extended to Mr. J. Purvis and family in the passing of Mrs. Purvis, who was a faithful membes of the Club before she moved to Vancouver to be with her daughter. business meeting a month. Crowd was- n't as large as usual on ac- count of illness but over 40 enjoyed the goodies supplied. ~ Afterwards lots of music and singing (Ethel Redman at the piano and Mr. Barber playing the mouth-organ) not forgetting the President Er- nest Healy who sang a comi- cal song, and music from the Stereo, presented to Club by the Lions Club. Mr. Buck- land kindly showed pictures of his many travels( on the screen), Norway and its love- ly old buildings dating back to 16th century, England, also with it's historical inter- ests. Mr. Buckland is to be congratulated on his marvel- ous memory in describing all these places he has per- sonally visited.
