Many ladies had the op- portunity to attend the service for the first time, due to the fact it was held in the evening, these la- dies and all others at- tending went home feel- ing a little closer to God and their neighbour. Even though the church was rather chilly the atmos- nhere was warm & friend- ly between all churches. After the service the ladies of the Catholic Wo- men's League were able to meet Sister Christine and Sister John in the sacrasty also a few ladies from the other churches were. pre- sent. Sister remarked on the fact that this was the first time she had been in such a group and was very happy 'to have had the op- portunity to witness the friendship which existed between -the- churches in Port Perry.
