LJ b/] 9, ¢ / £3 Seagrave We haven't heard of any births, marriages or deaths here this week -- just a shower and an anniversary. The shower on Thursday evening at the church was in honour of Mr, Ronald Crosier and his wife-to-be Miss Bar- bara Best of Manchester, We 'Seagravers can't or don't got anything started before dark so the program was very short -- a duet by Joyce Bruce and Diane Barr, a reading by Mrs, Barr and a sing-song. Morley Bruce was M.C. and read the address. Then the many gifts were carefully opened by the young rcouple, thanks was said and we ate again. One. of the tasks that bugs people at our church is carry- ing chairs up and down, back and forth. Quite a few had to be carried into the church on Sunday morning to accommodate the large « anniversary crowd. The choir consisted of the regular junior choir plus most of the S.S. children with ages ranging down to about 3 or 4 yrs. Each seo- tion performed well and were happy doing so. In the speakers' corner were two ministers--Rev. L. Critch and Rev. J. Lougheed with two Bill for support, with two Bills for support, the service, Bill Wanamaker introduced the speaker, Rev. Critch helped in places and Rev. Lougheed gave the ad- dress.
