Games will be played at the Lake Front Park as well as the Fair Grounds, and "teams are coming from Toronto, Oshawa, Scarborpugh, St. Catharines, Belleville, Brighton and Niagara-On-The-Lake. The two trophiés have been on display in the Star window 'during the week, but so more people may see them the two ladies in the Star office volunteered to: pose with them. Mrs. A. Clerk - Treasurer The always increasing load of work at the clerk-treasurer's office has made it necessary to add another staff member to that office. As of July 14, John Raines, clerk-treasurer for many years will- have an assistant in the name of John Doble, R.R. 3 Sunderland. Mr. Doble is the present deputy-reeve of Brock Township, and has been a member of that council for many years. During this period he also took time out to complete a three-year clerk- treasurer's course and a one' year assessor's course.
