N Scugog Aviation, a com- pany operated by Ted Griffin and Jim Pengelly was recently awarded a federal license, and are fully qualified to operate passenger service from the company's base in Port Perry. Scugog Aviation operates four planes, the largest a five passenger Cessna 185, and three smaller, one passenger aircrafts. Other services the company offers are aerial photo flying, recreational flying, aerial insp- 'ection, reconnoissance and aerial advertising. Scugog Cubs Enjoy Week At Camp Samac Camping was enjoyed by 18 cubs from Manchester, Prince Albert, Epsom and Utica, from Sunday July 6th to July 13th at Camp Samac in Oshawa. week of camping were, Cub- master, Mr. Larry Kendall, assistant leaders Ruby Pey- ton, Denise. Symes and Jim. mie Martyn. At.a camp banquet on Sat- urday some 60 badges were prevented to the boys.. The winners were: Scott Wilbur, for best athlete. Gavin' Mec- Callum, all-round best sports- man, John Zoet, best all- round Cub, Richard Rudkin for best attendance during the year at Cub meetings. Lee Sawyer received the a- ward for the best camp ef- fort, and Ji:nmie Martyn was voted for :by the cubs to re- ceive the friendship badge. Thursday night was family night when 43 parents, bro: thers and sisters enjoyed the entertainment planned by the boys. Many different crafts were taught during the week.
