We, all were students of German for at least two years and were selected from about | 1,800 students from all over Ontario. We each paid $379. for the trip. The rest was paid by the Ontario Canadian Governments. Trans-Canada Alliance of German Canadians and the government of West Germany. The At 12:00 on Sunday, June} 13, we mel with our fellow travelling companions at the German-Canadian Club Harm- onie, on Toronto. After a light lunch, the remainder of the after- noon was spent in a briefing session and getting Lo know each other. In the evening our parents joined us at the club for a farewell dinner. At 9:40 our plane left Toronto International Airport and we were, at last, way to Frankfurt, Germany. Our plane landed at approx-}-B imately 10:20 (German time).
