That life like the talent must be 'used. We must use our time and talents to God's Glory. After hymn "Stand up For Jesus"., the roll call. minutes of previous meetings were read, and Treasurer's report given. Thank you note was read from Doris Armstrong. It was decided to pay $15.20 freight on our overseas re- lief parcels. Mrs. Marion Kendall was the only member reported ill. Mrs. Kendall is in Osh- 'awa General Hospital. It was decided not to go to Fairview this fall. The money for the quilt was received. The quilt was bought by Mrs. 'Aldred. Mrs. David Prentice was presented with a life mem- bership to the U.C.W. A teapot, cream pitcher & sugar bowl were presented to Mrs. Prentice as a going away present from the UCW Mrs. Kerry gave a reading "Holiday Hazards". A contest about Flowers was conducted. We also sang a UCW song to the tune of "The O'd Grey Mare". That took the cob- webs out of our throats. Group. 3 served a delicious lunch and all enjoyed a so- cial hour.
