In the top left corner is the Port Perry Lions Club candy -cane float, third prize winner. To the right: Nancy Dowson, High School Queen carried by some of her fellow students. Centre left, Port Perry Cub Pack. At right is the float entered by the United Church Hi-C group, winner of first prize for the most outstanding Christmas Pageant float. Bottom left the two prancing horses entered by the Historical Society and to the right is the High School Band making such a big hit with the hundreds of spectators lining the Queen Street. The Star, unfortunately did not get a shot of the second place winner, "Barber of Seville" a float made by Mrs. John Pollard and her young helpers at Greenbank. ; i eS -- PRET T We
