MABEL HOWSAM th of Mrs. Mabel Howsam occurred suddenly in Sarasota, Florida on Nov- ember 28th, 1969. Born in he eldest of the child- f Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Williams. Mrs. Howsam was a ded- icated member of the Women's Institute which she joined in Solina then cont- inued in the Honeydale branch, where she . received her life membership. She was also a member of the U.C.W. and also the Louise Patterson Handicraft Guild. Never one to covet public acclaim, Mrs. Howsam never- theless took a quiet and sin- cere interest in the lives of those with whom she came in contact, giving help and encouragement to all. Her thoughtfulness and unselfish desire to help won her the respect and love of her many friends and acquaintances and the everlasting devotion of her whole family.
